The Gyeongnam Gimhaebu Police Department announced on the 31st that it had arrested A (42) on charges of killing a company employee by neglecting it for a long time after assaulting a company employee.
According to the police, Mr. A is accused of assaulting employee B (42)’s entire body several times at 1 pm on the 24th at the private emergency rescue team in Gimhae city where he works, and leaving him in the office to kill him.
As a result of the police investigation, Mr. A drove Mr. B in his company’s ambulance at 8 am the day after the crime and headed to the street near Mr. B’s residence.
When Mr. A moved Mr. B, who is lying in the office, he moved with his wife C (30s), co-worker D (30s), and his wife E (30s), an acquaintance.
The police confirmed that they stayed calmly in an ambulance and a restaurant run by Mr. C for about 7 hours, and later reported to the fire department, saying, “People have died.”
Mr. A was identified by the police as the actual operator of the company, whose wife is the representative.
A number of signs of violence, including bruising, were found on the face and chest of B who died.
Mr. A was conscious of Mr. B when he moved by car, but he only admitted to the charges of assault by stating to the police that he died after arriving near the residence.
The police predicted that it was deliberately damaged based on the disappearance of the closed circuit (CC) TV in the office, which is believed to have recorded the scene of A’s assault.
The police said that Mr. B failed to resist and was unilaterally assaulted on the basis of the fact that Mr. A had been practicing psychological control (gas lighting) and wage arrears, such as assault, abuse, coercion, etc. for the past two years, against Mr. B, who worked with him for five years. It was presumed dead.
The police are considering whether to apply the crime of murder against Mr. A based on the fact that the causal relationship between assault and death was confirmed in the first inspection of the National Institute of Scientific Investigation.
In addition, the company plans to investigate whether or not his wife, etc., who was with him when he moved, participated in the assault.
