Child abuse is most common in day care centers, except at home. Compared to kindergarten, it is more than four times as many. Since 2015, when CCTV became mandatory, it has increased significantly. The abuse, which was not well known, is being proven through CCTV, but it is not seldom decreasing.

The standard for setting up a daycare center in Korea is 2.64 square meters per infant and the OECD average is 3.61 square meters.
Experts say child care settings and child abuse are not unrelated.

However, in Korea, the installation standard created 30 years ago remains the same.
In this situation, the teacher alone is caring for as many as 9 children.

Some studies have shown that applying only an assistant teacher at lunch will reduce abuse.
It is also controversial that obtaining a childcare teacher license in one year.

Penalties for abuse are also weak.
There is also a court fine and probation for being a first offender, saying that the abuse of teachers is serious.

In the US state of Nevada, child abuse is a Class B felony up to 20 years in prison.
