As anti-Asian sentiment caused by Corona 19 in the United States expands, the suffering of Koreans living in the United States continues.
There are frequent incidents, such as a Korean convenience store being smashed, while a Korean couple was assaulted by teenage boys while taking a walk and broke a rib.
◇ Convenience store smashed : There was an incident in which a black man came into a store operated by a Korean man with an iron rod and destroyed the interior of the store.
According to the local media’Fox 46′ on the 3rd (local time), a black man with an iron rod entered a convenience store operated by Mark Sung’s parents in Charlotte, North Carolina, and destroyed the property.
According to a CCTV video inside the store reported by local media, the black man knocked over a shelf with goods as soon as he entered the store. Then, with an iron stick, he crushed the items inside the store, such as refrigerators.
According to the surname, the black man also swears, “Go back to your country, this Chinese bitch.” It is a typical hate crime.
The suspect who broke the convenience store of his parents is Harvier Rash Woody-Silas, 24. He has been arrested eight times, of which three times this year alone.
◇ A Korean couple on a walk broke a rib after being attacked CNN broadcast reported on the 3rd (local time) that Washington State Tacoma police arrested a 15-year-old boy for assaulting a Korean couple and charged with second-degree assault.

The incident took place on November 19 of last year, but the suspect was arrested belatedly when a video of the assault scene at the time was recently popularized on social media.
In the video, a boy in a red top and black pants ran towards an Asian couple walking down the street and punched. Even when the victim shouted “Help Me,” he continued to assault.
The victim said that several teenagers at the time pushed him down and punched him to break his ribs and bruise his face.
The police received a report at the time of the incident, but do not know if it is the same as the assault case in the video. It is known that the victim’s relatives became aware of the situation and started an official investigation.
In an interview with CNN, the victim said, “I forgive the perpetrators, but I want to properly investigate the case of violence targeting Asians.”
