Prosecutor General Yoon Seok-yeol took first place outside the margin of error, surpassing 30% of the approval rating for the first time in the next presidential candidate’s preference survey.

As a result of a public opinion poll conducted by YTN on the 3rd of January 1st and 2nd of the new year, commissioned by Real Meter, President Yoon Seok-yeol ranked first with 30.4%.

It is the first time that it has exceeded the 1st place and 30% approval rating out of the margin of error.

Gyeonggi Governor Lee Jae-myeong was 20.3%, and Democratic Party leader Lee Nak-yeon was 15%, ranking second to third within the margin of error.

By disposition, there were many responses that the middle class and the conservative class preferred Yoon Suk-yeol. In the progressive class, Governor Lee Jae-myeong received the most support with 38.1%, surpassing Representative Lee Nak-yeon, who gained 20.2%.

Governor Lee Jae-myeong absorbed some of the key progressive supporters of Lee Nak-yeon, who raised the pardon for former presidents Park Geun-hye and Lee Myung-bak on New Year’s Day, Real Meter analyzed.

By party support, more than half of the supporters of the People’s Power supported President Yoon Suk-yeol, and nearly half of the Democratic Party supporters supported Governor Lee Jae-myeong.

The results of this opinion poll are slightly different from those conducted in other ways as an ARS poll. Because it is an ARS survey, it is evaluated that the tendency of Shai’s conservatives was a little more prominent.

The survey was conducted on January 1st and 2nd, with 1,000 men and women aged 18 years or older nationwide, and the sample error is ±3.1% point with a 95% confidence level. For more information, please refer to the website of the Central Election Survey Deliberation Committee.
