Deputy Prime Minister Yoo Eun-hye and Minister of Education reiterated the principle of “the principal’s authority” on the cancellation of admission of Cho Min (30), the daughter of former Justice Minister Cho Kook, who was suspicious of enrolling in Pusan National University Medical School with false documents.

At the same time, he sent an official letter to Pusan National University on the 8th to report the relevant information by the 22nd, and added, “We will look at the action plan and progress of Pusan National University to see if there is any leadership/supervisory role that the Ministry of Education can play.”
When asked if Mr. Cho submitted false data such as forgery or forgery during the entrance examination, and was not the reason for cancellation of admission under the Higher Education Act, Deputy Prime Minister Yoo replied, “I know that the documents were found to be false in the first trial.”

Meanwhile, last year, the court sentenced Cho Min to 4 years imprisonment and a fine of 500 million won and arrested at the trial of Cho’s wife, Professor Chung Gyeong-shim of Dongyang University. The court judged all the so-called’seven specifications’ submitted by Cho Min to Korea University and Pusan National University medical personnel as false.
Earlier this year, Min Jo, who passed the examination by applying to the Doctor’s Bureau as a medical student at Pusan National University, is currently working as an intern at a hospital.
