Mayor Park Young-seon and Democratic Party Mayor of Seoul announced on the 11th that “if the mayor of Seoul is elected, we will conduct a thorough investigation into whether or not the SH Seoul Housing and Urban Corporation and Seoul City officials are dumped.” This morning, at the Korea Press Center, the government officials debate.

Seoul Mayor Park Young-sun, together with Democratic Party candidates, are all speaking at the government officials debate held at the press center in Jung-gu, Seoul on the morning of the 11th.
Candidate Park said, “The government should have taken more firm measures to prevent speculation in advance,” and said, “We need to be more resolute in areas related to corruption such as speculation.” He said, “We will use the special envoy (special judicial police) and the self-governing police transferred to the city to investigate the entire city of Seoul and operate the Seoul citizens’ monitoring and monitoring team.”
From the beginning of the debate on this day, aggressive questions about the speculation of the LH 3rd new town and the real estate issue continued. In addition to the Seoul Metropolitan Government’s thorough investigation, Candidate Park said, “We need to introduce a system in which people working in public offices need to report in advance when they purchase land or apartments. I think.”
Regarding the issue of homeland and transportation minister Byeon Chang-heum, he said, “It is necessary to judge whether this is a part that can be insulated with the hardship of one minister by looking at the results of the investigation.”
When asked about the reason for the recent surge in house prices in Seoul, when he said, “The house price has risen because a lot of money was released unexpectedly with Corona 19,” he said, “It is a global phenomenon. It means that it is also one of many causes. “Another fundamental cause was insufficient measures due to the shortage of housing supply as the number of single-person households in Seoul increased significantly.”
Park Young-sun “All the prospects related to Yoon Seok-yeol are novels”
Regarding the resignation of former prosecutor general Yoon Seok-yeol, Candidate Park spared his words, saying, “Because it is a debate meeting that came out as a candidate for the mayor of Seoul, I have a lot to say, but I will omit it.”

Seoul Mayor Park Young-sun, together with Democratic Party candidates, responds to inquiries from panelists at a government forum held at the press center in Jung-gu, Seoul on the morning of the 11th.
As soon as former President Yun resigned, he asked if the phenomenon of rising to the top of the presidential candidate’s approval rating could be viewed as a desired public opinion. “I have been in contact with former President Yoon from time to time since I was the chairman of the judiciary committee,” he said. “We have to watch the ups and downs of the approval rating a little more.” He said, “I heard that all the stories about’how to do it in the future’ are novels, and I actually confirmed it,” he said.
Regarding the recent controversy over speed control, he said, “I think that the time to completely deprive the prosecutors’ right to investigate all at once is a little bit timely.” Candidate Park said, “I am a person who advocates phased reform. “If you push too much reform at once, there will be a number of side effects such as a backlash from vested interests.
When it was pointed out that the investigation power was weakened due to the adjustment of the prosecutor’s right to investigate and the seizure and search was delayed in the LH case, Candidate Park said, “If the prosecution can investigate justly, I think that even the deputy prosecutor can suggest that we will investigate these areas more fairly. “But you can’t talk like that right now, and you’re hiding behind. Let’s see what happens, it looks like this.”
Park Young-sun avoids stance on Queer Festival
Regarding the LGBTQ parade festival, which is one of the major questions asked by the Mayor of Seoul, Park avoided expressing a clear position by answering, “It is correct to proceed while building a consensus with the citizens of Seoul.”
-Does it mean that if there are a lot of opposition to the queer parade, you won’t do it?
=There are my own thoughts according to that. Seoul citizens’ plaza is a representative place for expression. However, I think it is more important to build a consensus with the citizens of Seoul before expressing my thoughts.
-Do you have any plans to participate in the queer parade?
=In that part, I think it is important to empathize with the changes of the times, the spirit of inclusion, and diversity while building a consensus with the citizens of Seoul, rather than expressing the position that I will do this or that.
-In developed countries, candidates’ values are revealed to voters in value judgment issues such as abortion and homosexuality.
=I think it is important to reveal your beliefs. The situation in which the candidate’s words are used in elections is strong, so that should be improved as well.
