‘2021 Asia-Pacific Awards 2021, hosted by IFLR (International Financial Law Review) under the global financial magazine Euromoney by Young-jin Ha of Law Firm (Limited) Pacific (hereinafter referred to as “Pacific”, CEO Dong-woo Seo) ‘Rising Star of the Year’, the first Korean lawyer to win. Among the six candidates, Ha Young-jin was the only Korean lawyer to be named.
Organized by IFLR, a global financial law magazine, this awards ceremony annually reviews and announces excellent law firms and lawyers who have demonstrated creative and progressive capabilities in the fields of finance, M&A, and corporate restructuring by country each year. Following last year, the awards ceremony was held online again this year due to the Corona 19 incident.
IFLR highly praised the growth potential based on the experience and expertise Ha Young-jin has accumulated in the capital market and securities finance sector. In fact, attorney Ha has successfully provided’advising on the issuance of Kakao and Hanwha Chemical GDR and listing on the Singapore Stock Exchange’,’advising on the listing of Korean and foreign companies such as Samsung Biologics, Doosan Bobcat, and Kakao Games’, and’advice on the issuance of foreign bonds by the Korean government And has been active as a next-generation runner in the capital market field. Attorney Ha Young-jin left the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) and graduated with the highest honors from the Graduate School of Law at Korea University, and obtained an LLM from Harvard Law School in 2019. After passing the 1st bar exam, he has been working as an attorney in the Pacific Securities and Finance field since 2012.
