Everyone was surprised. This is because about 3,000 people gathered in the corona emergency situation and held a rally for two days and one night. It is none other than the’BTJ Center for the Nations’ under the Intercorp Mission. In terms of quarantine, meetings of more than 5 people were prohibited, but a whopping 2797 people (people identified by the Central Defense Response Headquarters) gathered. In addition, 662 (as of the 13th) visitors to the BTJ World Center were diagnosed with coronavirus.

The problem doesn’t stop there. Many of BTJ’s Visitors to the Nations Center have returned to their respective churches. Then there is a risk that the coronavirus outbreak will spread further through each church. No matter how much I think about it, I don’t understand. How could 2797 people gather and hold a rally in this severe coronavirus situation? The rally participants must have been fully aware of the dangers of corona infection. There are surprising reasons for this.

The Protestant community believes that Intercorp, a missionary organization founded by Missionary Paul Choi, is based on’Christian Zionism’. BTJ’s’BTJ’ of BTJ World Center is also an abbreviation of’Back to the Jerusalem’. They believe that the establishment of the state of Israel in the land of Palestine by the Jews in 1948 was a fulfillment of biblical prophecy. Not only that. Missionary Choi literally interprets the’Revelation of John’ in the Old Testament and emphasizes eschatology.

All kinds of metaphors, symbols, and numbers appear in the’Revelation’. Basically, it is a revelation literature with a strong apocalyptic atmosphere and a strong prophetic tendency. The problem arises as you begin to literally interpret Revelation and apply it to your faith. The same is true of Missionary Choi. Based on the book of Revelation, he constantly emphasizes that the end of the world is nearing the end of Jesus’ Second Coming.

Missionary Choi argued in a sermon that “if we get a corona vaccine, we can manipulate our DNA” or “Bill Gates invested in a DNA vaccine. All of the remarks that vaccinated and become their slaves are based on an eschatological worldview.

Now I can understand. How could 2797 people gather at the BTJ Center for the Nations rally in the midst of coronavirus and everyone’s recovery? This is because many of them nodded to Missionary Choi’s eschatology. At the end of the world, the Second Coming of Jesus is on the verge of coming, because I think Corona is nothing. Rather, they may be accepting Corona as one of the tribulations predicted in Revelation.

Missionary Choi’s interpretation and perspective of the’Revelation’ is dangerous. Why? This is because the literal interpretation of’Revelation’ is a’standard menu’ frequently used by Christian heretical groups. Throughout the New and Old Testament, Shincheonji emphasizes the most is’Revelation of John’. The Shincheonji side insists, “Only Shincheonji can properly solve the’Revelation of John’.” Shincheonji also insists on the Second Coming of Jesus and the theory of the end of life based on the Revelation of John. In addition, when various groups of Christian heretics unfold the logic of the end times and salvation, the’Revelation of John’ was mainly used.

In Bodhgaya, northern India, there is a Mahabodhi temple. There is an old bodhi tree in this temple. 2600 years ago Siddhartha Gautama achieved enlightenment under it. When a Korean monk who recognized them said, “You shouldn’t do this here,” the college students said, “You are going to hell.” These were students who attended the Intercorp Retreat.

What clearly shows the essence and orientation of Christianity? That’s right. Jesus on the cross. Jesus himself, crucified, tells us. It is told to put down all the paradigms created by the eye of the ego, the eye of ideology, the eye of doctrine, and the eye of belief. Tell them to put down all those idols. So he is giving us his own prayer that said, “Drink according to my will and do according to your will.” Why? It is because only when we break down the inner frame, the paradigm within me, we can melt into the infinite attributes of Christ.

However, Missionary Paul Choi’s Intercorp is going backwards. “The time has come. The end times have come,” saying, “We are building a strong paradigm for the apocalypse, the Second Coming of Jesus, and the final judgment. We are planting it in people. The road Jesus walked, the spirituality Jesus embraced, and the orientation Jesus pointed to. From all of them, Intercorp is running in reverse. The’Idol Worship’ that Jesus warned is not far away.
