“If you don’t have as much fortune as Tesla CEO Elon Musk, don’t invest in Bitcoin.”

With bitcoin prices falling by more than 20% in four days, Microsoft (MS) founder Bill Gates, chairman of the Bill & Merlin Gates Foundation, warned on the 25th (local time).

“Because Musk has a lot of money and is very meticulous, his bitcoin doesn’t go up and down randomly,” Gates said on Bloomberg TV. “But people who don’t have a lot of money (as much as Musk) are being deceived,” he added. “If you have less money than Musk, you should be careful about investing in Bitcoin.”

Bloomberg interpreted it as warning that Gates, the world’s third richest person, warned that “unless you are the world’s richest person, you shouldn’t buy bitcoin.” Chairman Gates is currently in third place in the world’s top ranking after Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos and Elon Musk Tesla CEO.

Musk is the one who ignited the recent bitcoin craze. On the 8th, after he announced that he would buy $1.5 billion worth of bitcoin and add it to Tesla payment methods, the price of bitcoin soared.
