“You can’t hear the word that the quantity is small” Ziyang clarifies controversy over snack prices

Popular foodie YouTuber Ziyang (real name Park Jeong-won, 24, photo) explained the controversy over the price of snack bars.

On the 19th, Ziyang uploaded a video titled’This is a video about the price controversy’ on the YouTube channel.

In the video, Ziyang said, “It hasn’t even opened yet. “It was a test to call acquaintances and get feedback on taste, price, service, etc.”

Previously, Ziyang announced the news of the snack restaurant’Jungwon Snack’ near Isu Station in Seoul, which is scheduled to open on the 1st of next month. He invited his former acquaintances to the official opening and went through a test period, and the photos on the menu that were released at this time were criticized. This was because the price was higher than other restaurants and the quantity was small.

In the video that day, Ziyang said about Yang, “Tteokbokki for 9,000 won will be served for two. During the test period, I didn’t hear that there was a small amount.”

“I made the wrong plate choice. The pasta ball is hollow inside.” He revealed the cooking process of the menu to be sold at the snack bar, and compared the weight with other companies’ Tteokbokki.

Finally, Ziyang said, “(Business) I didn’t think it was easy. I started because I could donate the proceeds and hope it would be good,” he said, “I will try my best in the future.”

Meanwhile, Ziyang, who has 3.04 million subscribers, declared retirement in August last year due to controversy over’back advertisement’, but returned after three months. Since then, he has been actively broadcasting.
