Actor Yoon Yeo-jung, who was nominated for the 6 Academy Awards nominations for’Minari’, was nominated for the first Korean Academy Awards for acting awards, and made a special impression. Yoon Yeo-jung said, “I’m so upset that I can’t meet you because I’m in quarantine. I’m really grateful for your support, but honestly, I was very burdened.” Yoon Yeo-jeong has been to Canada for the filming of the Apple TV Plus drama’Pachinko’ before returning to Korea yesterday evening and is in self-quarantine.

“In fact, when you become a nomination, you will want to support the award now, but I think that the nomination alone is the same as winning an award, because I do not think that other actors play one work and rank it.” I conveyed my impressions. Lastly, “I am grateful to the many people who helped me, cheered, and worked with me until I enjoyed this glory and joy. When people can afford it, they seem to be grateful. When I can’t afford it, I resent it. I can afford a lot. I can afford it a lot. I am grateful for everything that has passed. Once again, I am sorry for not being able to greet me directly. Thank you very much for your support.”

‘Minari’ was nominated in six categories at the 93rd Academy Awards: Best Works, Best Director, Best Actor, Best Supporting Actress, Best Screenplay, and Best Music. It was recorded as one of three films that were nominated in three categories at the same time in Oscar history: Best Picture, Director, Screenplay, and became the first Asian American film to be nominated for Best Works. In the domestic box office as well, it was ranked No. 1 for 13 days from the date of opening on March 3, and exceeded 500,000 viewers, and is achieving great results in terms of box office performance.

I am very upset because I cannot meet you because I am in quarantine.
While I’m really grateful for your support, it was really burdensome to be honest. I wasn’t even an Olympic athlete, but I could feel the emotional distress of the Olympic athletes. In fact, I am very honored to be nominated, and I think that it is like winning an award because all five nominations with me did their best in their respective films. I hate competition. That’s why the competitive pros that hide the rankings are those who are sick and can’t see them. In fact, if you become a nomination, you will now want to support the award, but I think that this nomination alone is like winning an award, because it is not that one work is played by other actors to rank. Thank you so much for your support, and I couldn’t even imagine anything like this would happen at this age.
I thought that it was difficult but rewarding to participate in a small movie made by the second generation of Koreans, but this is a joyous moment. Thank you to my friend In-ah Lee, PD, who delivered this movie screenplay to me, introduced the director, and stayed with me to this day with a sense of responsibility. We were quarantined together, so we heard the news yesterday, but my name alphabet was called Y at the end, and this friend trembled a lot, and at the moment of the announcement, he cried instead of me. Anyway, I am grateful to the many people who helped me, cheered me, and worked with me until I enjoyed this glory and joy.
It seems that people will be grateful when they can afford it. When you can’t afford it, you resent it. I guess I can afford a lot. Thanks for everything that has gone by.
Once again, we apologize for not being able to greet you directly due to the circumstances. Thank you so much for your support.
