On the 3rd, YTN commissioned Real Meter to conduct a poll on 1,000 men and women aged 18 years and over for both days on the 1st and 2nd of the new year. As a result, President Yoon showed a 30.4% approval rating. This is the first time that the approval rating exceeded 30% and was out of error.

Governor Lee ranked 2nd and 3rd, respectively, with 20.3% and 15% for Lee. The sample error is ±3.1% points with a 95% confidence level.

By disposition, the middle and conservatives preferred Yun. In the progressives, Governor Lee received the most support at 38.1%, surpassing Lee, who gained 20.2%.

This was analyzed by Realmeter as Governor Lee absorbed some of the key progressive supporters of Lee, who raised the pardon for former presidents Park Geun-hye and Lee Myung-bak on New Year’s Day.

By party, more than half of the supporters of the People’s Power supported President Yun, and nearly half of the supporters of the Democratic Party said they supported Governor Lee.

Realmeter said that this poll was conducted by ARS, and the results were slightly different from those conducted in other ways. It was evaluated that the tendency of’Shy’ conservative was a little more prominent.
