In the aftermath of Corona 19, the number of employed people last year decreased the most since the 1998 financial crisis.
The impact was concentrated on the face-to-face service industry, and the number of vulnerable employment and self-employed were also greatly reduced.

Yes, we released annual employment statistics last year, with 218,000 fewer employed than the previous year.
This is the largest decline after the decrease of 1276,000 people in 1998 when the financial crisis hit.
In addition, the annual decrease in the number of employed is the fifth since related statistics were compiled, and 11 years after the decrease of 87,000 people in 2009, just after the global financial crisis.
By industry, the impact was concentrated on the face-to-face service sector.
The wholesale and retail business decreased by 160,000, the lodging/restaurant business decreased by 159,000, and the education service business decreased by 86,000.
However, the number of health and social welfare service industries increased by 130,000, and the transportation and warehouse industries increased by 51,000.
The hit of the underprivileged class was also noticeable.
By employment type, the number of regular workers among wage workers increased by 305,000, but temporary workers decreased by 313,000 and daily workers decreased by 101,000.
In addition, the number of self-employed employees decreased by 165,000.
The employment rate decreased to 60.1% in all age groups except those in their 60s, which is the lowest since 59.8% in 2013.
The unemployment rate rose for all age groups, excluding those in their 20s, to 4%, up 0.2% from the previous year.
