The government is looking for a way to recover unfair gains by referring to the Capital Markets Act.

There is also a plan to permanently evict real estate speculation officials.

The government is contemplating what penalties will be given to public officials or employees of public institutions when they take advantage of inside information and take advantage of them.

First, the capital market method used in the stock market is the subject of reference.

The current Capital Market Act uses internal information to redeem 3 to 5 times the profits in case of unfair conduct, and this system can also be introduced into the real estate market.

According to housing related laws and internal regulations, the scope of confidential information, insider information, etc., as well as the scope of related information handlers, is widened, and the level of penalties for leakage or private use is increased.

As a subject of review for the introduction of the real estate registration system, the agency’s employees will report changes in real estate properties, such as acquiring new real estate.

Before the project proceeds, it is possible to determine whether there is insider property to be implemented, and when the implementation is decided, it is possible to recommend the sale of the property before implementation.

Public officials or employees of public institutions who are caught speculating on real estate will be removed from the organization, and measures will be taken to prevent them from entering the real estate market at all.

We plan to restrict employment in related organizations to public officials who have committed corruption, and also to prevent the acquisition of licenses for real estate-related businesses.

Experts say that the land compensation system of housing districts in the new city must also be completely modified.

“In order to prevent speculation, foreigners need to strengthen their qualifications for selling detached houses or apartments in order to differentiate themselves from local residents.”

Some are voicing that we need to develop housing sites in the long term through land planning or urban planning, and to implement anti-speculation policies accordingly.
