One of the few countries that artificial satellites create on their own is Korea.

However, there is virtually no domestic projectile, so the stigma of being half-sized.

Various space development plans including the first domestic launch vehicle this year will be realized.

Nouriho’s first-stage rocket emits fire.

Unlike the combustion test conducted until last year, four 75-ton engines are intertwined.

After completing the clustering work that had been difficult, combustion tests are in progress in the same manner as when the actual launch in October.

The goal is 127 seconds, the time required for the Nuri to exit the Earth’s atmosphere.

We recorded 30 seconds in the first combustion test last month, and we plan to achieve 100 seconds at the end of this month and 127 seconds in the next month’s test.

“Because it has to fly through the atmosphere, it is the most propellant structure. Only if this part is well verified, the Nuri can challenge the space flight in the second half of this year.”

Plans for the satellite sector this year are also in progress.

The next-generation medium-sized satellite of the 500kg class, which is expected to be used for multipurpose purposes such as ground observation, will be aboard the Russian Soyuz spacecraft in Kazakhstan next month and head to space.

In addition, the development of the Cheonrian 3, which can be used for flood monitoring and communication purposes, is also underway.

The lunar orbit is also one of the major challenges this year.

It is expected to launch next year after preparations, such as assembling a payload that performs various missions such as shooting the surface of the moon with an orbiter.

Meanwhile, a probe that will observe the asteroid close to it is also expected to take its first steps.

Last year, Japan’s Hayabusa 2 was the first mankind to collect soil from an asteroid and return, and we are also pursuing such asteroid exploration.

First of all, we will promote the preliminary exemption this year, and we will be promoting development in earnest from next year.

The government is planning to advance space development this year by investing 615 billion won in all of these space development plans.
