Deputy Minister Kim continued, “We plan to hire 1042,000 people in direct job projects to provide income support and work experience for the vulnerable who have had a particularly difficult year with Corona 19.” Compared to last year, it is more than 10%.

The government is focusing on direct job hiring in the first quarter of this year (January to March). It is planned to be implemented so that more than 800,000 people can be hired in the first quarter. This is equivalent to 80% of the size of direct jobs this year.

At this meeting, the current status of digital twin land development was reviewed. The government has selected the establishment of a digital twin as a representative task of the Korean version of the New Deal to lay the foundation for new industries such as autonomous vehicles and drones and strengthen the safety management of land and facilities, and plans to invest a total of 1.8 trillion won by 2025.

It is being used as a virtual platform for building a smart country by completing administrative tasks and civic services.

The government plans to foster new industries such as autonomous vehicles and drone delivery based on digital twins.
