The concentration of fine dust is expected to be high because the nation is in the sphere of high pressure and air circulation is not smooth. It is expected that the entire country will be affected by the yellow dust by the 17th, as it has also flowed into the yellow sand originating from inland China.
This yellow dust is highly likely to last for more than 2 hours with an average concentration of 800㎍/㎥ for 1 hour. This’very dark’ yellow dust has been observed in about 5 years since April 2016.
The Meteorological Administration said, “You should be careful as yellow dust will be observed in most parts of the country from morning to morning starting with the 5th island in the west sea in the early morning of the 16th.”
The concentration of fine dust is expected to be’very bad’ in the metropolitan area, Chungcheong area, Honam area, and Jeju area, and’bad’ in the Gangwon area and Yeongnam area. It is expected that the Gangwon and Yeongnam areas will temporarily show’very bad’ levels in the morning.
The lowest temperature in the morning is expected to be -1 to 13 degrees Celsius, and the highest temperature in the daytime is expected to be 11 to 21 degrees Celsius.
The minimum temperature by region is ▲Seoul 3 degrees ▲Incheon 3 degrees ▲Chuncheon 2 degrees ▲Gangneung 7 degrees ▲Daejeon 5 degrees ▲Daegu 9 degrees ▲Busan 12 degrees ▲Jeonju 7 degrees ▲Gwangju 9 degrees ▲Jeju 12 degrees.
The highest temperature during the day is expected to be ▲ Seoul 13 degrees ▲ Incheon 11 degrees ▲ Chuncheon 14 degrees ▲ Gangneung 16 degrees ▲ Daejeon 14 degrees ▲ Daegu 17 degrees ▲ Busan 19 degrees ▲ Jeonju 15 degrees ▲ Gwangju 16 degrees ▲ Jeju 14 degrees.
In Jeju Island, the rain will continue until the morning of the 16th. However, there will not be much precipitation due to the fast moving speed of the pressure valley. Estimated precipitation is about 10~40㎜.
