The world’s new coronavirus infection (Corona 19) vaccination has exceeded 400 million doses.

According to AFP, more than 42.3 million doses of vaccine were vaccinated in 158 countries around the world on the 18th (based on GMT).

AstraZeneca vaccination has been stopped in some countries, especially in Europe, but vaccinations around the world are accelerating. The time it took to get the vaccine for 100 million people recently was 11 days, six times faster than the time it took to vaccinate the first 100 million people.

Israel is the country that leads the way for vaccination. About 60% of the population received at least one vaccination and 50% received two vaccinations.

The United Kingdom (38%), the United Arab Emirates (35-70%), Chile (28%), the United States (22%), Bahrain (22%), and Serbia (16%) are also leading.

In terms of inoculation alone, the number is 13 million doses in the US, 65 million doses in China, 39 million doses in India, and 27.6 million doses in the UK. European Union (EU) countries have received 54.4 million doses of 8.5% of the total population.

Meanwhile, countries in the least developed countries received vaccines donated through’CoVax’, an international cooperation project for COVID-19 vaccine earlier this month.

Low-income countries, which account for 9% of the world’s population, have been vaccinated with 0.1% of the world’s vaccines, but 58% have been vaccinated in wealthy countries, which make up 16% of the world’s population. In particular, the United States accounts for 28% of the world’s vaccinations.

The vaccine vaccinated in the largest number of countries is the AstraZeneca (Sweden)-Oxford University (UK) vaccine. It is being vaccinated in more than 100 countries, and supplies have been supplied through COVAX to poor countries as well as the UK and EU countries.

After vaccination, blood clots were reported, and at one time, more than 20 countries temporarily suspended vaccination, but vaccination has been resumed in several countries after the European Medicines Agency (EMA) announced that it was safe on the 18th (local time).

The Pfizer (US)-Bioentech (Germany) and Modena (US) vaccines, which are more expensive than the AstraZeneca vaccine, are vaccinated in about 70 and 40 countries, respectively, and are mostly wealthy.

Russia’s Sputnik V vaccine is being vaccinated in more than 20 countries, and China’s Sinopam and Synovac vaccines are each being vaccinated in more than 20 countries. It is used in emerging and developing countries as well as its own country.

The Johnson & Johnson vaccine in the United States, which requires only one dose, has been approved in the United States, Canada, and the EU, but is currently being vaccinated only in the United States and South Africa.
