Alienated tropical disease (NTD) refers to all 20 diseases occurring in the tropics. Because these diseases only affect poor people in underdeveloped countries such as Africa, there is a lack of research on prevention and treatment, and the reality is that they are alienated from the international community.
According to the World Health Organization (WHO), about 1 billion people suffer from alienated tropical diseases such as Black Private Disease, Chagas Disease, and Norma Disease, or suffer disabilities and die in severe cases. To overcome this situation, aid organizations and companies around the world have stepped up, and now, about 100 organizations are sponsoring to fight the disease.
