[그린포스트코리아 박은경 기자] Woori Financial Group has declared himself a “kiddariaer” for small businessmen who are suffering from the economic cold caused by the novel coronavirus infection (Corona 19).

On the 27th, Woori Financial Group announced that it will conduct a’good shop in our neighborhood’ project that supports living funds, public relations, and marketing to 100 small businessmen suffering from Corona 19.

At the same time, through the’Good Landlord Movement’, it was decided to reduce rental fees to small business owners and small and medium-sized businesses that are leased in a building owned by Woori Bank.

Woori Bank decided to reduce monthly rents by 30% to small business owners and small and medium-sized businesses that are leasing in their own buildings for six months from next month, and to give full exemptions to businesses that are discontinued when the social distancing step is raised.

This is to alleviate the economic burden of small and medium-sized businesses due to the reinforcement of social distancing. Earlier, Woori Bank reduced the rental fee by 30% of the monthly rent for 7 months from March to a maximum of KRW 1 million per month, considering the fact that small business owners and SMEs have to pay monthly fixed rent.

The small business owners who are eligible for the support of the ‘Household Shop in Our Town’ business are ‘good small business’ who consider the socially weak and strive for win-win despite the difficulties caused by Corona 19.
