According to an Associated Press report on the 23rd (local time) in the United States, Woods underwent long-term surgery at the Harbor-California University of Los Angeles (UCLA) Medical Center, a first-class trauma treatment hospital in Los Angeles, California (LA).

In a statement released through the Woods Twitter account, Dr. Anishi Mahajan, chief of the medical center, said, “The right shinbone and calf bone of Woods were shattered and broken.” I made it.”

Woods was transported to the Harbor-UCLA Medical Center, 9 miles (14.4 km) from the site, immediately after the car rollover accident, and underwent surgery for several hours.

Earlier, the US sports media ESPN cited an internal source and said, “Woods broke two legs together with a composite fracture and ankle shattered.”

The Los Angeles Times (LAT) also reported that Woods ankle bone was broken and shattered, citing a source familiar with the situation of Woods surgery, and that the leg bone suffered a complex fracture.

Woods manager Mark Steinberg told The Washington Post (WP) that Woods had undergone surgery, but the recovery situation is unknown right away.
