Minister of Gender Equality and Family Jung Young-ae mourned the death of the late grandmother Jeong Bok-soo (104), a Japanese military comfort woman victim who died on the morning of the 12th.

Minister Jung said, “When I visited the House of Sharing on the 10th, I was hospitalized and hoped to recover, but I am saddened to hear the news of the death.” I will do it.”

He added, “Among the victims registered with the government, survivors are now only 15 minutes,” he added. “We will actively pursue projects to restore the honor and dignity of comfort women victims.”

Grandmother Jung was registered as a resident of 1916 according to the family register of her sister who passed away early. While living in the house of sharing, he was recently hospitalized due to deterioration in his health due to old age.
