At the end of last year, Samsung Electronics ranked first in the global TV market for 15 consecutive years, proving a different level of’super gap’ in the global industry. This product is only 100 to 200 micrometers (1 µm = 1 millionth of a meter), which is one 40-th of the size of the existing product. As the device is smaller, more LEDs are placed in the backlight to dramatically improve the image quality and make use of the details of color and contrast. ‘Quantum Matrix Technology’ is applied, and the brightness of the quantum mini LED is also adjusted in 4096 steps. By efficiently distributing power to the backlight according to the screen brightness, the contrast ratio and black color can be expressed more accurately. A learning-type AI quality improvement (upscaling) technology made up of 16 neural networks was also applied. Regardless of the quality of the input video, it provides the highest level of 8K and 4K resolution.

Neo QLED can create a sophisticated interior effect by harmoniously matching any space by applying’Infinity Design’ with a very thin bezel.
