Environmental beautifiers who have been caught trying to make a profit by reselling winter goods purchased and paid by local governments through used transactions are raising questions.

On the 12th, according to Muan-gun, Jeollanam-do, a complaint was posted on the Muan-gun homepage saying that environmental sanitation workers and drivers in Muan-gun are trying to take advantage of privately by trading secondhand winter goods paid for in tax.

Min Won-in said, “Recently, safety shoes and goose padding at the oo market were at a decent price, and I had inquiries with some sellers. It’s a new product, but when I sold it at too cheap, I asked if there was a problem with the product.” Accordingly, the seller said that he was an environmental beautification driver, and that he received the product as a winter product from the local government. He said, “There are already several environmental sanitation workers and drivers doing that.”

In fact, at the end of last month, a post was posted on the used trading application saying that it would sell winter padding jumpers and safety shoes, and the selling price was 450,000 won for down padding, and 50,000 won and 30,000 won for safety shoes, respectively. All products were introduced as new products without taking off their trademarks.

Muan-gun immediately investigated and confirmed that the jumper and safety boots were cold-warmed supplies that Muan-gun provided to the military’s environmental cleaners before this winter. In addition, it was discovered that four environmental sanitation workers were trying to sell items on the Internet.

“Strictly speaking, winter items received by environmental sanitation workers are items paid for with military or national tax,” said the complainant. I wonder if I can grasp it.

Earlier, Muan-gun paid 27 million won to 81 people at the environmental cleanser to provide winter clothing and safety boots in November and December last year. Winter clothing is worth 230,000 won per person, and safety shoes are two pairs of 65,000 won.

Muan-gun said that as soon as the investigation was completed, it would take strong measures such as dismissal of the act.
