Kim Si-woo (26, CJ Logistics), who won the American Professional Golf (PGA) Tour American Express, rose to 48th in the world rankings.

In the men’s golf world rankings announced on the 25th (Korean time), Kim Si-woo was ranked 48th, up 48 places from 96th last week with a ranking of 2.2779 points. Among Korean players, it is the second highest ranking after Lim Seong-jae (23, CJ Korea Express).

Kim Si-woo won the American Express, which ended on this day, with a final total of 23 under par 265 strokes. It has been the top in 3 years and 8 months since the 2017 Players Championship, and is the 3rd personal and 18th Korean victory.

The rankings of other Korean players who were good at American Express also rose.

Lim Sung-jae, who tied for 12th, climbed one step from 18th to 17th last week. The 17th place is Seongjae Lim’s personal highest ranking. Ahn Byung-hoon (30, CJ Logistics), a tie for eighth, climbed four places to the 74th.
