Winia’Medibox’ is a small cryogenic freezer with a capacity of 90L and weight of 65kg, and is characterized by the ability to store 18,000 vaccines per unit. It is possible to set the temperature from -80 degrees Celsius (℃) to 10 degrees Celsius image, so that all vaccines scheduled for domestic vaccination can be customized, an official of Winia Dimchae explained. A menu is built-in so that you can select a different storage temperature for each vaccine, so you can easily set the optimum temperature.
In addition, by using an inverter compressor, it is possible to distribute and store in a cryogenic state for a certain period of time (1 to 2 hours) through a separate battery pack. Even in an emergency, a small cold chain can be formed while maintaining the freshness and quality of the vaccine. Since the temperature recording storage device is built into the freezer, it is possible to monitor the temperature change during distribution in real time if necessary.
Medibox is also easy to transport and store. Because it can be transported in a van vehicle or cart because of its small size, and it can be moved while maintaining a low temperature, it is explained that the limitation of movement of medium and large-sized cryogenic freezers of 400L or higher that cannot use a separate battery pack is also eliminated.
