Lee Seung-woo entered the European stage early in February 2011 when he joined Infantil A (13-14 years old team), the Spanish Primera Liga FC Barcelona U-13 team.
Seung-Woo Lee debuted on the professional stage through Team B in Barcelona in the 2016-2017 season, but eventually failed to join the Barcelona Team A and transferred to Serie A Verona, Italy in August 2017.
Seung-Woo Lee played in Verona for a total of 43 games (including 23 regular league games) for two seasons, scoring only two goals and was not able to show a remarkable performance.
Seung-Woo Lee also played in four regular league games in the first season in Sinttrawidon and scored no goal.
This season, he scored only two goals in the first 13 games, and he missed 9 consecutive games from the 17th round to the 23rd round, which was virtually excluded from the main game.
Because of this, Seung-Woo Lee’s side was concerned about staying in the European stage and advancing to the K-League.
The obstacle to entry into Korea is money. This is because there is a transfer fee incurred because the contract with Sint Trawiden remains for about a year and a half.
According to Transfermark, a transfer media outlet, the value of Lee Seung-woo’s transfer fee is about 600,000 euros (about 810 million won).
In the end, K-League clubs are expected to follow the method of seeking a complete transfer after leasing rather than a full transfer to recruit Lee Seung-woo.
