‘Wild Horse’ Nam Sang-gu dies of liver cancer… “I was passionate and touched me a lot until the last time”

Nam Sang-gu, a member of the popular group’Wild Horse’ in the 1980s, passed away. Age 66.

The deceased was diagnosed with liver cancer in 2015 and struggled with the disease.

The six-member group’Wild Horse’ gained popularity by releasing songs such as’Did you forget me already’ and’Lovers with a short night’ in the 1980s.

Even during the fight against cancer, the deceased was the secretary of the 8th Army Show and Yewoohoe, a gathering of first-generation musicians from group sound.

Park Seong-seo, a popular music critic, said in a conversation with Maeil Business Daily Star Today on the 11th, “I had been diagnosed with liver cancer six years ago and struggled with it. Despite the fact that it was difficult to stand on the stage after a major operation, he received a lot of applause on the stage and was passionate until the end. Even though I was sick, I was very impressed with my hard work.”

Nam Sang-gu recalled the deceased, regaining life and songs through music that overcame pain and sorrow and sublimated with joy, and delivered another message of hope.”

The deceased was also active as a member of’Hisix’, the longest-running band, and met fans through seasonal concerts and charity performances.

Bereaved are a wife, a son, and a daughter. The moratorium is the 3rd room of the funeral hall of Seoul National University Hospital in Jongno-gu, and the deceased is on the 13th.
