[아시아경제 최은영 기자] Choreographer Bae Yoon-jung was unexpectedly surrounded by suspicion of illegal streaming of the drama.
On the 13th, he posted a video on his social network service (SNS) with an article saying, “I’d rather play a game.”
In the released video, Bae Yoon-jung’s 11-year-old husband was watching the hit drama SBS’Penthouse’ late for the Lunar New Year holiday.

However, some netizens who encountered the video expressed doubts that an unknown Chinese was written on the bottom right of the screen of’Penthouse’.
That Chinese is the number of those who provide subtitles for Korean dramas in China. Accordingly, a suspicion was raised that the Bae Yoon-jung couple did’illegal streaming’ using files illegally distributed on Chinese sites.
In response, netizens expressed displeasure with reactions such as “Illegal downloads because of how much it costs to replay”, “Illegal seems to be more bothersome than legal”, and “There is no commercial morality among people in the industry.”
Currently, the content has been deleted from Bae Yoon-jung’s SNS.

Previously, the scenes of actors Kim Ji-hoon, Lee Su-min, and other celebrities watching illegally downloaded movies and dramas caused similar controversy as they spread the air.
When Kim Ji-hoon appeared on MBC’s’I Live Alone’ in November last year, he released the appearance of watching the HBO MAX drama’Raised by Wolves’ at home, which cannot be legally seen in Korea. After controversy, he said, “As an actor, I deeply apologize for acting without knowing about copyright properly.”
On the 2nd of last month, the movie playback screen that Lee Soo-min released on his SNS became a problem. It was pointed out that the address of a specific Internet site and subtitles displayed at the bottom of the playback screen released by Lee Soo-min did not appear to have been officially purchased.
In response, Mr. Lee bowed his head, saying, “I am reflecting on watching a movie on an illegal site.”
