Recently, some countries, especially in Europe, have excluded older people from the AstraZeneca vaccine.
Germany, France, and Spain have limited the vaccination age to under 65, Poland to under 60, and Belgium to under 55.
The advisory group recommended that the AstraZeneca vaccine can also be used in areas where the COVID-19 mutant virus has occurred.
Even if the effect is a little less effective, it is right.
The interval between the 1st and 2nd vaccinations was recommended from 8 weeks to 12 weeks to maximize efficacy.
Chairman Krabioto advised, in particular, to rush the AstraZeneca vaccine.
The situation is too serious to await the results of a large US clinical trial next month.

After listening to the advisory group, the WHO will make a decision on the list of urgent use of the AstraZeneca vaccine in mid-month.
