Habib Nurmagomedorf is attracting attention by mocking’Rival’ Conner McGregor, who lost his first TKO in his career.
McGregor lost TKO in the second round of the match against Lightweight Dustin Poirier at the UFC 257 main event held at Etihad Stadium in Yas Island, UAE on the 24th (Korean time).

Earlier, McGregor was one of the UFC’s best stars, conquering both feather and light weights. Then, in June of last year, he suddenly declared his retirement, saying, “The game has become boring.” On that day, he made a blitz against Poirier, but the result ended in his defeat.
McGregor showed confidence, saying, “I will finish it in 60 seconds” ahead of the game. However, he lost TKO for the first time in his career in a return to Octagon after a long time.
In response, Habib mocked McGregor, who was defeated for the first time through his SNS. Habib wrote on social media, “I showed you what happens when you sparr with young kids, not the sparring partner who changed the team and made you a champion.”
With McGregor’s defeat, it became unclear whether the UFC would pursue a confrontation between McGregor and Habib. Habib retired after leaving an undefeated record with 29 wins against lightweight 29. In October 2018, he won against McGregor.
