On the 23rd, when the court sentenced former Justice Minister Cho Guk-shim’s wife, Dongyang University professor Chung Gyeong-shim, to four years in jail at a trial for the first instance, an exaggerated reaction erupted from the passport.

Prosecutors who had previously strongly criticized the prosecution, who claimed “prosecution reform” and demanded 7 years in prison, turned their arrows to the court when the court sentenced Professor Jeong to medium sentences and insisted on “court reform”.

Shin Young-dae, a spokesman for the Democratic Party of Korea, said through a commentary on the day, “I am embarrassed that the judgment by the court is too harsh,” and “I hope that the truth will be revealed properly in the remaining trial process.”

Rep. Sang-ho Woo, who was running for the Seoul Mayor’s by-election, wrote on his Facebook page that it “looks like a sentiment mixed with emotions,” and “I feel anger beyond disappointment.” Then, he said to former Minister Cho and Professor Jeong, “do your best.”

Democratic Party lawmakers Kim Nam-guk and Kim Yong-min, who have been publicly revealing the ‘pronclination of the motherland’, also revealed their position.

Rep. Kim Nam-guk said, “My heart is clogged and I can’t breathe. I’m going to go on a thorny path. I’ll walk together in the rain and hit stones together.”

Rep. Kim Yong-min wrote, “This is exactly what Yoon aimed at the judge’s inspection,” and “The crimes of Yoon and the Supreme Prosecutors’ Office must be punished.”

Rep. Kim Yong-min served as a member of the Legal Affairs and Prosecutors Reform Committee during his tenure as former Minister Cho. Rep. Nam-guk Kim said on his YouTube that he went to bed every night after praying for former Minister Cho.

Kim Jin-ae, a member of the Open Democratic Party, said, “Is it on the side of the court’s prosecution?” and said, “I’m not guilty of a private equity fund, and I’m not guilty of hiding evidence.

On the Democratic Party’s homepage, the bulletin board of the rights party and the online community of pro-friendship were lined up with writings against the ruling. Responses were followed, saying, “Justice reform is urgent,” “The judiciary is the dog of the prosecution” and “It is the responsibility of the Democratic Party to fail to keep the political mind.”
