Actor Cho Byeong-gyu eventually leaves KBS’Comeback Home’ due to controversy over school violence.
On the 26th, Sports Chosun reported that Cho Byeong-gyu was going to step out of the KBS new entertainment’Comeback Home’.
Sports Chosun said, “The KBS side decided to get off by Cho Byeong-gyu,” and “I think I felt a burden as a public broadcaster as the school violence-related disclosure continued.”
‘Comeback Home’ is an entertainment program newly launched by KBS. Comedian Yoo Jae-seok’s return to KBS entertainment was scheduled for the first half of the year. Initially, the program was known as a reality entertainment that supports the dreams of the young people living there, returning to the first home where a star started living in Seoul for the first time.
This program was an ambitious work that KBS was expecting, such as releasing a pre-interview video of Cho Byeong-gyu through YouTube on the 16th. However, the first official filming of the program, which was scheduled on the 27th, was not finally done. Pre-filming was planned on the 20th as well, but it was destroyed.
The new performer of’Comeback Home’ to replace Cho Byeong-gyu was revealed as rapper Lee Young-ji. The filming and scheduling schedule is still unknown.
