(Seoul = Yonhap News) Reporter Hyo-Seok Lee =’League of Legends’ (LoL) Ex-professional players and active professional baseball players compete for LoL over donations.
Riot Games will host a special match’League of Legends: Players of the Gorge’ from 5 pm on the 28th.
Riot Games explained that as both LoL and Professional Baseball are in the off-season period, they planned a special match to provide entertainment to LoL Champions Korea (LCK) and Korean Professional Baseball (KBO) fans.
Professional baseball players include Jaewon Oh (Doosan), Joontae Kim (Lotte), Jonghoon Park (SK), Wooseok Ko (LG), Wontae Choi (Keeum), Deokju Ham (Doosan), Sihwan Noh (Hanhwa), Taein Won (Samsung), Hyesung Kim (Keeum) ), Won-joong Kim (Lotte), Won-joon Choi (KIA), and Jae-seong (KT) will participate.
Former LoL professional players include Jae-wan Lee,’Wolf’, Beom-hyun Kang,’Gorilla’, Chang-seok Lee, and Ho-jong Lee of’Flame’, leading professional baseball players and influencers.
In the match, the final winner is determined by a single match in the quarterfinals. Caster Seung-heon Seung, commentator Min-cheol Jang, baseball commentator Shim Soo-chang, and announcer Jung-hyun Lee are in charge.
The prize money of 20 million won will be donated to the Fruit of Love Community Chest of Korea.
