Dougon Yoo, Jimmy Yu, Eurpheus, Yoo Seul, Chicken Tea, Yugoslavia, Canola Yu… … .
What do they have in common? All are nicknames for comedian Yoo Jae-seok. In MBC’s entertainment program’What do you do when you play?’, Yoo showed a variety of’Bukkae (Sub-character)’ instead of’Bonka’ (original character). The public was enthusiastic whenever a character whose appearance, tone, and personality changed according to the time and place were released.

MZ generation earning money with’Bukkae’

Not only Yoo, but also celebrities with various books are on the rise. The bukkae craze has landed not only for broadcasters, but also for the MZ generation born in the early 1980s to early 2000s. However, their bookmakers are a little different from those on TV. It is viewed as an economic concept used to generate non-salary income. If you want to compare it, it’s more like a documentary than an entertainment.

The backroom team met three young people who are pioneering a new everyday life. Shall we take a look at the world of Bukkae?

#One. Bonecanum is a wealthy income? You’ll make money with’hobby life’!

15 million won per month. Han Seung-hyun (34), the author of the book 〈This Life is N Jobs〉, is the money he earns as a book, not as a UI designer. The belly button is bigger than the belly. Thinking,’I wish I could earn pocket money for my hobbies,’ he started digging several wells.

As a result, it has been reborn as a’Pro N Job’. I also sold character goods, and I lectured at university. The writer’s work is the beginning, not the end of the book.

Mr. Han said, “I tried to experience various hobbies because I wasn’t having fun at work, so the best fit was painting. At first, I made money with time and talent, but now I am making money with know-how.

More and more millennials are trying to earn extra income through bookie. On the 10th of last month, according to a survey of 7328 office workers by’Blind’, an anonymous community of office workers, more than half of 51% answered that’they are making profits from activities outside their jobs’. One in four people also said they were planning a second job.

Heather (pseudonym, 30s), who has been working in the IT industry for 10 years, is a wine specialist. Last summer, we opened Josuwa (a slightly suspicious wine shop).

“I liked wine in the first place,” he says. “I opened my own store because I wanted to study more.” As for his book “articleThe owner of a wine shop with a hard hobby.”I defined it as.

#2. Profit and self-improvement, catch both rabbits!

Your head may be tilted. Isn’t it no different from the side job that the previous generation had done? However, the bookmakers of Generation MZ don’t just focus on making money. Self-development and a tendency to regard it as a kind of specThis stands out.

Tae-geun Oh (36) is a marketer. Here, we have three books: a wedding presenter, a singer-songwriter, and a content planner. Mr. Oh, who transforms like a chameleon, explains, “Since the side job is an extension of the activities related to the main job, it can contribute enough to the main job.” It means that the bukkae activity does not interfere with the job, it is helpful.

The same goes for Heather, who became the owner of a wine shop to study wine. He says, “It was a life that ran the track of a schoolboy by studying hard as my parents told me to do. I came to this point after asking endless questions about how far I could do something.” .

#3. When it’s hard to eat, let’s add a spoonful of bukkah!

‘Small work, big money.’
If you’re an office worker, you’ll have ten phrases in your mind that say, “Let’s work less and earn more.” However, there is a sense of crisis that it is difficult to live on only by working alone in the MZ generation.

This is the reason why Han Seung-Hyun became an N-japanese who crosses many jobs. An uninteresting company, an unsatisfactory salary, and an uneasy future. Mr. Han said, “If I got out of the company’s fence, I was nothing. I thought that I should develop my remaining abilities outside of the company.”

The concept of’lifetime work’ is rapidly disappearing. As a result of a survey last year by the recruitment and job-seeking platform’Guinin’ to 2030 job seekers, more than 6 out of 10 answered that they do not aim to go to retirement from their first job.

Unlike in the past, when retirement was natural at the job where they first joined, MZ generation often uses’Financial Independence Retire Early’ as their role model.

When the Fire tribes collected about 25 times their annual expenditure through savings and extra income, We look at’economic independence’ where you don’t have to get rid of your salary. When this becomes possible, you enjoy life while doing what you want. Most aim for early retirement by the early 40s at the latest.

#4. Anyone do it? Bukkae is also a’professional’ area!

But not everyone. It is essential to keep in mind if you want to raise both the boncae and the bucae to be successful. Bukkae is the realm of’professional’, not amateur.

“If I start working with the mind that I have to earn a lot of money quickly, my inner skills do not build up and I hate working. If I start after exploring what I like first, I will be able to work happily in the long run.” (Han Seung-hyun)

“Some people accuse me of saying,’People who aren’t good at this or that always touch this and that’. But when I do, I get a desire to do everything better. I just try to try things I like and want to try. It would be nice to see it as a situation.” (Oh Tae-geun)

It’s the result of fierce efforts for dreams and survival in a way that grows in reality every day. Would you like to find a new book?
