On the 29th, WeMefo announced that it will officially operate the ‘0% brokerage fee’ policy, with the support of self-employed business owners and customers who ordered.

The ‘0% brokerage fee’ policy was operated by WeMef since last September, and is a policy that does not receive delivery/pickup brokerage fees if you only pay the server cost (8800 won per week). If the order amount per week does not exceed 30,000 won, the server cost is returned to the store owner.

WeMef explained that the decision was made to share the pain with the self-employed people who are in double trouble due to the recent decrease in sales due to social distancing and the increased burden of delivery brokerage fees.

In addition, additional costs borne by the store owner, such as separate advertisement fees and store entry fees, are not received according to the existing policy.

Store owners who entered Wemakepo are an advantageous fee model among the flat rate system, which pays 5% of the order amount (2% for stores in Seoul) as a fee depending on the order volume, and the flat-rate’intermediary fee 0%’ product that does not have any additional costs other than server usage fees.
