We stopped talking to each other, staring at each other… Na Gyeong-won and Oh Se-hoon are’judging victory’

I stared at the other person and stopped talking to each other often.

A one-on-one confrontation between former Seoul Mayor Oh Se-hoon and former lawmaker Na Gyeong-won (Lee Sang Ki-soon), who is regarded as’Yanggang’, was held in the confrontation debate between the preliminary candidates of Seoul Mayor of the people’s power held at the Memorial Hall of Baek Beom Kim-gu, Yongsan-gu, Seoul on the 23rd.

The two fight hard from the start. Regarding Mayor Oh, who resigned from the post of Mayor of Seoul after taking responsibility for the free meal referendum in 2011, former lawmaker Na criticized “You cannot entrust 10 million Seoul to an irresponsible person.” Accordingly, Mayor Oh said, “I owe you my heart. It has been hardened and polished for 10 years.”

I, former lawmaker, pointed out that Oh, “I do politics to split sides.” He said, “Oh, the mayor recently announced that he would put a referendum on the relocation of the National Assembly to Sejong City,” he said. In a one-on-one discussion with other candidates, Mayor Oh said, “I will ask Seoul citizens’ intentions and make a position as mayor regarding the relocation of the National Assembly to Sejong City. I will go through the process of public debate.” Oh, the former mayor refuted, “I have never said such a statement (residency vote).”

The two were praised for the results of the 21st general election held in April last year. Former Mayor Oh is raising the’responsibility for the loss of the general election’ against former lawmakers. The former mayor’s argument is that I, when former lawmaker, was the president of the Free Korea Party (now the power of the people), led an over-the-counter rally and failed to expand the party’s extension and lost the general election.

In response, former Congressman Na said, “As the in-house representative, I have fulfilled my responsibilities. When the people asked to fight together in Gwanghwamun, they went out and fought together,” he said. “There are countless reasons for the painful general election defeat. I also reflect on it from the beginning. Unfortunately, however, the former mayor is blaming it on someone else.” Mayor Oh said, “The inner meaning of my words was not the accusation of my hard work in the over-the-counter struggle, but the point that I had nothing to gain as a result, but I must have been in pain. Politics is responsible for the consequences.”

Policy confrontation was also fierce. Mayor Oh, using the experience of the re-election mayor of Seoul, persistently inquired about ways to secure the financial resources of the policies that the former mayor pledged. Mayor Oh asked, “If elected, the term is one year and two months,” and asked, “Do you have any plans that can be realized within one year?” “It is possible through supplementary administration and cuts in the existing budget,” said former lawmaker Na. He refuted, “Oh, the mayor also made a lot of pledges based on the five-year term.”

A pre-selected 1,000 citizens’ evaluation team (ARS survey) ruled that I had better debate.

On the other hand, in the one-on-one discussion between former Congressman Oh Won-hwan and Cho Eun-hee, head of Seocho-gu, Seoul, held together on this day, the real estate pledge became a major issue.

Rep. Oh criticized President Cho’s housing supply plan as impractical. He criticized, “In the pledge of Candidate Cho, there are many undergroundization plans such as the Gyeongbu Expressway, Subway Line 2, the southern area underpass, and the Seoul-Daejeon circular road, etc.,” he criticized. In response, mayor Cho said, “I did not say that I would make the Gyeongbu Expressway underground and build an apartment on it. To think so is an old-fashioned thinking. “We will do it through a change of ideas by using garages and public parking lots.”

A nerve conduction broke out between the two. As the debate overheated, former Mayor Cho said, targeting former lawmaker Oh, “I seem to be a city councilman and do not know the administration well.” In response, former Congressman Oh said, “I did twice as a member of the National Assembly. It seems that the commissioner doesn’t know well because he is the mayor of the ward. The mayor of Seoul should not only have the role of an administrator, but also have the political power of opposition integration.” Among the two, the Citizens’ Evaluation Team evaluated that Chief of the two had better debate.
