Vitcon, an IoT solution company, announced on the 8th that it will build an IoT technology-based control center for safe transportation and storage management of pharmaceuticals such as Corona 19 vaccine.

The IoT medicine control center is operated with data collected through’T10′, a smart medicine refrigerator temperature management system developed by Bitcon. During the entire process of transportation and storage of medicines, the temperature and humidity can be monitored through sensors for 24 hours and checked with smartphones and PCs. If an abnormal temperature is detected, you can receive a real-time warning alarm.

Based on the system built through T10 installed nationwide, Bitcon builds a drug control center, monitors the temperature information of vaccines and various drugs, as well as the delivery route using GPS in real time, and provides a smart cold chain that can quickly respond to emergency situations. I plan to implement it.

Bitcon was selected as a’Seoul IoT Demonstration Project Support Company’ by the Seoul Industry Promotion Agency in 2018 and installed T10 at the Yeongdeungpo Public Health Center. Recently, the COVID-19 vaccination has begun, and it is being supplied to various institutions to monitor temperature and humidity data for storage of medicines. Currently, drug management through T10 is reached in a total of 2,000 places, including national research institutes and public health centers such as Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology, Seoul National University, Asan City Health Center, and Hanyang Medical Foundation, and small and medium-sized hospitals.

In February, to facilitate the supply of vaccines to children and adolescents, a business agreement was signed with the’Well & Pediatric Association’ composed of pediatric and adolescent specialists nationwide. Based on this business agreement, Vitcon plans to provide vaccine refrigerator temperature monitoring solutions to 700 children and adolescents, hospitals and clinics that are active as member companies of the Wells & Children Association.

CEO Kim Min-gyu said, “With the recent corona 19 vaccination in full swing, small and medium-sized medical institutions are deepening their concerns about drug management sensitive to temperature changes. We will do our best to support safe drug management by providing a system that captures both and accurate data monitoring.”
