A novel coronavirus, a highly contagious strain, is rapidly spreading around the world. Vaccination for the novel coronavirus infection (Corona 19) has begun in the United States and Europe, but this variant of the virus is raising new fears.
According to foreign media on the 27th, the virus that was first discovered in the UK now sweeps through Europe and is spreading to the Middle East, Asia, Australia and North America.
In Europe, France, Denmark, Spain, Sweden, the Netherlands, Germany, Italy, Ireland, and Switzerland have identified strains. In Lebanon, a country in the Middle East, authorities also discovered a variant of the virus.
In Asia, Japan and Singapore confirmed the virus infected, causing an emergency. In North America, an infected variant of the virus emerged from Ontario, Canada.
In the United States, there is no official announcement from the authorities yet, but experts suspect that the strain is already spreading.
The county of Los Angeles (LA) in the United States has launched an investigation to determine whether the virus has spread from the UK. The Washington Post (WP) pointed out that there will be no reported cases since the United States has done very little genetic testing.
Variants around the world appear to be the starting point for entrants from the UK, but internal transmission is also a concern. In Japan, the family of captains in their 30s who were infected with a variant virus after visiting the UK were also confirmed as a variant virus. The two infected people in Canada have no travel history.
The virus variant was first discovered in September in southern England, England. The British government estimates that the infectious power of the variant is up to 70% stronger than the existing Corona 19. According to the British Bureau of Statistics (ONS), two-thirds of confirmed cases in London, eastern and southeastern England were infected with the variant. It can be interpreted that the more easily spread variant is rapidly replacing the existing virus.
