US State Affairs and Defense Promote’China Check’ and’Alliance Rally’

The U.S. State Department and the Secretary of Defense will begin a breathtaking tour of Asia, starting on the 16th, starting with a series of high-level talks with South Korea and Japan, and then visiting India.

The visit to South Korea, an allied nation where participation in Quad Plus is discussed, including Japan and India, which are parties to the Quad, which is a four-country consultation targeting China, is interpreted as China’s pressure for the “alignment of alliances” by the US

Defense Minister Lloyd Austin is scheduled to travel abroad first on the 13th. Secretary Austin will visit US Indo-Pacific Command in Hawaii to meet with US military and senior commanders to highlight the Indo-Pacific vision as a priority for the Department of Defense.

On the 16th, he joined Secretary of State Tony Blincoln and visited Japan and Korea in sequence.

Ministers Blincoln and Austin will attend the US-Japan Security Council (2+2 talks) with Japanese Foreign Minister Toshimitsu Motegi and Defense Minister Nobuo Kishi from the 16th to the 17th.

According to the State Department, Secretary Blincoln meets with Foreign Minister Motegi and other senior officials to discuss global issues. In addition, we will meet with Japanese business leaders to discuss the importance of economic relations between the two countries and the impact of the Corona 19 crisis on the economy.

From the 17th to the 18th, Ministers Blincoln and Austin will visit Korea to attend a meeting of the foreign ministers of Korea and the United States, hosted by Foreign Minister Eui-yong Eui and Defense Minister Seo Wook.

The State Department and the Department of Defense announced that they will visit both Korea and Japan to reaffirm the US’ commitment to strengthening the alliance and emphasize cooperation that promotes peace, security and prosperity in the Indo-Pacific region and around the world.

After the two ministers’ Korea-Japan schedules are over, they will digest different schedules.

On the 18th, Secretary of State Jake Sullivan meets with White House National Security Adviser, and Yang Jietsu, a Chinese Communist Party diplomat politician and Wang Yi, meeting with Chinese Foreign Affairs Officer and Foreign Minister.

CNN explained that Alaska was set as the meeting place because Secretary Blincoln was caught on his way home to Washington after visiting Japan and South Korea.

The Wall Street Journal (WSJ) quoted a remark from a high-ranking official, and the topic of dialogue between the two countries is the new coronavirus pandemic (Corona 19) pandemic, climate change, etc. It was said that it would be an “unclear embargo” imposed on it.

The official said the United States will also discuss China’s intellectual property theft, forced technology transfer and human rights, and China’s (trade) practices, where American workers and farmers suffer damage.

After the Korea-Japan schedule was over, Minister Austin moved to India and met with senior Indian leaders, including Defense Minister Rajnas Singh, to deepen the’free, prosperous and open Indo-Pacific’ and the’Bilateral Partnership Agreement for the West Indian Ocean Region’ and between the two countries. We will discuss the promotion of cooperation.
