It is reported that US investigative authorities are investigating a suspect in a vehicle explosion in Nashville, Tennessee on the morning of the 25th.
According to the Associated Press on the 26th (local time), two law enforcement officials said on the day that federal investigators were searching the suspect’s home after identifying the suspect in the Nashville explosion. In this regard, FBI special investigator Jason Pack said several federal and local agency investigators had obtained information related to the investigation from their home in Antioch, a suburb of Nashville.
According to CBS, the suspect is Anthony Quinn Warner, 63, living in Nashville. Warner had a recreational car similar to the one identified at the site of the explosion. Reuters reported that the house’s 2019 Google Street View image shows what appears to be a white recreational car on the driveway. Neighbors told local TV that the car had been parked for years, but now it is gone.
However, officials refused to confirm the suspect, saying, “At this point, we are not ready to confirm even a single suspect.” An FBI spokesman explained, “We will look at the evidence and everything recovered from the residence and see how it fits into the investigation.” FBI Memphis Special Investigator Douglas Coneskey said at a press conference today that he is pursuing more than 500 clues and investigating many people who may have been linked to the explosion.
In the early morning of Christmas, a parked recreational vehicle exploded in downtown Nashville. The remains were found at the site and three people were taken to the hospital. According to the fire department, the three injured were hospitalized with relatively minor injuries and are in a stable state. The authorities are investigating that there is a high possibility of committing an explosion due to deliberate actions rather than a simple accident.
