As the start date of the American pro baseball major league spring camp approaches, the name of Choo Shin-soo (39 years old), who has not yet decided on a team, is frequently appearing in the local media.
On the 7th (Korean time), the American D-Athletic and CBS Sports referred to the Pittsburgh Pirates and Milwaukee Brewers as’a team showing interest in Choo Shin-soo’.
The Athletic said, “Shin-soo Choo is a good match for Pittsburgh’s left fielder or backup first baseman,” and said, “Pittsburgh could recruit Shin-soo Choo for a reasonable amount.”
CBS Sports reported, “There are rumors that the Milwaukee Brewers showed interest in him while Shinsoo Choo was training first baseman.”
From 2005 to 2020, Choo Shin-soo never hit first baseman while playing in the major leagues for 16 seasons.
He has been an outfielder or designated hitter.
It has not yet been confirmed whether’whether to train as first baseman’, but if Shinsoo Choo is able to digest first baseman, big league clubs’ interest in him may increase.
Choo Shin-soo, who broke up with the Texas Rangers, who played for seven years, trained and waited for another club’s offer.
