The United States and Japan agreed to put all-round pressure on the Myanmar military, which caused a coup on the 1st.

The two sides also agreed to demand the release of key government officials detained, including state adviser Aung San Suu Kyi, to the Myanmar military and to restore the democratic political system early.

Earlier, Myanmar’s military government held a coup on the 1st of last year for the reason that “a serious misconduct occurred, but the government failed to properly investigate it,” when the Democratic Peoples Alliance (NLD) led by Suu Kyi was overwhelmed in the general election last November. Got up and took power.

In addition, the two ministers shared concerns that China recently entered into enforcement of the Maritime Police Act, which allows the use of weapons by the maritime police within their waters, and agreed to respond in cooperation between the two countries.

In addition, in order to realize a’free and open India-Pacific’ led by Japan, it has decided to strengthen alliances with four’quad’ countries including the United States, Japan, Australia, and India.

This is the second time since the inauguration of Minister Blincoln on the 26th of last month during the telephone talks between the US and Japan foreign ministers.
