The Korea Tourism Organization is recruiting prospective entrepreneurs who will challenge start-ups in the smart tourism field by the 19th by participating as a leading agency in the’preliminary start-up package support project’ promoted by the Ministry of Small and Medium Venture Businesses.

The preliminary start-up package is a project that supports commercialization funds, start-up training, and mentoring for the smooth initial commercialization of prospective start-ups with innovative technology start-up ideas. Starting in 2019, KNOC has discovered and nurtured a total of 47 prospective entrepreneurs, and from 2020, it is recruiting prospective entrepreneurs specialized in the field of’smart tourism’ where core technology and tourism industry are fused.

Applicants can apply as an innovative tourism start-up item that can provide differentiated experiences, convenience and services to tourists by converging and combining tourism with technologies such as big data, hologram, and mobility. There is no age limit, and it is limited to those who are prospective entrepreneurs who have no experience in starting a business (regardless of business) as of the date of business announcement (March 30), or who do not have a business under the name of the applicant. It does not matter if a person with experience of closing a business starts a business in a different type of business, but if you want to start a business in the same type of business, it must exceed 3 years after closing and 2 years after bankruptcy or bankruptcy.

Documents and presentations are evaluated based on the motivation for the development of startup items, commercialization strategies, market entry and performance creation strategies, and the final selection of 30 prospective startups up to KRW 100 million in start-up commercialization fund and entrepreneurship training, start-up management Dedicated mentoring by experts is supported.
