On the 25th, Epic Games Korea announced that Unreal Engine was used for the previs work of’Seungriho’. Wiziwick Studio, a global content producer, used Unreal Engine for the work.

Pre-Visualization is a work process that minimizes trial and error in the actual production stage and enhances the completeness of the work by implementing the conceived image on a computer prior to full-scale production.

An official from Epic Games Korea said, “Unreal Engine’s pre-vis determines the direction of shooting and directing in real time and provides a scene close to the final version with high quality, providing intuitive idea sharing and more efficiency and creativity to the production crew.” said.

Wizwick Studio used Unreal Engine to previs, check the composition of the camera, movement lines, and special effects points before actual shooting.

‘Seungriho’, which attracted great attention even before the release with the lead roles of Song Joong-ki and Kim Tae-ri, was the first space opera work in Korea, and was simultaneously released in 190 countries around the world through Netflix on the 5th. In just two days of its release, it has succeeded in box office success around the world, ranking first in 28 countries.
