Ulsan Hyundai coach Hong Myung-bo, who is ahead of the 5-6th place match for the 2020 International Football Federation (FIFA) Club World Cup, said, “I will definitely win and reap the most beautiful beauty.”

Ulsan will play the 5th-6th place in the 2020 FIFA Club World Cup against Al Duhail (Qatar) at Ahmed bin Ali Stadium in Qatar at 00:00 (KST) on the 8th. It is also the last match in Ulsan.

Coach Hong Myung-bo expressed his determination for victory through an official interview conducted before the game.

Coach Hong said, “I will keep the positive parts I found in the first game and make up for the shortcomings. (Although I lost) I think I got a lot from Tigres (Mexico).”

He then said, “I will definitely win the remaining game and reap some of the beauty. I have to go more aggressive to get the result. I’m thinking of a strategy to dominate the space while focusing on midfielder play and owning the ball.” Delivered.

Following that, coach Hong also left a message for the young players participating in the global tournament called the Club World Cup.

“It’s a huge income for young players to experience big competitions,” he said. “If the start of a player’s career is the Club World Cup, I don’t think there will be anything more fantastic than that.”

Furthermore, coach Hong said, “There are a lot of young players in our team. These players are the future of Korean football as well as Ulsan. The club World Cup experience is an opportunity for players to grow, and I think this is a good thing for Korean football.” He added.

Meanwhile, coach Hong Myung-bo looked positively at the event taking place in Qatar, the venue for the upcoming 2022 World Cup finals.

Coach Hong said, “The World Cup will be held in Qatar next year, and I don’t know if the Corona 19 situation will improve until then, but I expect that it will be a good experience to keep hosting big tournaments in Qatar.”

He added, “There are parts that are frustrating because players cannot get out of the’bubble area’, but this is a part that must be observed to comply with the quarantine rules. We must see how these will work in the World Cup.”
