Ulsan City extends social distancing until the 31st of the second phase

Extension for 2 weeks from 00:00 on January 18 to 24:00 on January 31

Eating in stores is allowed as in cafes and restaurants

No more than 20% of seats in religious facilities are allowed

In accordance with the government’s announcement of the extension of social distancing, the city of Ulsan will extend the current distancing step from 0 o’clock on the 18th to 24 o’clock on the 31st for two weeks.

According to the city of Ulsan on the 17th, the spread of the novel coronavirus infection (Corona 19) has peaked at the end of December and is currently on a decline. However, in winter, as the spread of infection is high and socio-economic damage due to the re-proliferation of the epidemic is expected when the quarantine is mitigated, the current distancing step is to be extended for two weeks.

First of all, the city of Ulsan minimizes contact with meetings that are the main cause of the spread of the current epidemic.

As private gatherings from 5 people will continue to be banned, reservations and accompanying admission are allowed only for up to 4 people in restaurants, and only packing and delivery are allowed after 9 pm.

In the case of other meetings and events, the ban on meetings and events with more than 100 people is maintained.

However, 5 types of gatherings and events, such as assemblies and demonstrations, large-scale concerts, academic events, festivals, and nationwide group events, which are highly concentrated and at high risk of infection due to meetings in other regions, are prohibited from gathering more than 50 people at the level of 2.5 levels. do.

Regular religious activities such as regular worship, mass, court meetings, and ceremonies are allowed to participate within 20% of the seats under strict quarantine regulations. Meetings and meals organized by religious facilities continue to be prohibited, and in particular, all meetings and events other than regular religious activities are prohibited in prayer centers, training centers, and mission facilities.

In the same manner as restaurants, cafes are allowed to eat in the store until 9 p.m. on the premise of strict compliance with the existing quarantine rules, which only allowed packaging and delivery in consideration of the fairness with the restaurant.

In restaurants and cafes with a facility permit/report area of 50m2 or more, one table or seat should be left to minimize the density, and if it is difficult to observe this, a 1m distance between the tables or partitions should be installed.

If you do not eat, it is mandatory to wear a mask, and if you violate this, a fine of not more than 100,000 won is imposed. In particular, when two or more users order only coffee, beverages, and simple desserts at a restaurant or cafe, it is strongly recommended to limit their stay at the store to within 1 hour.

Meeting facilities such as restaurants and cafes located in outdoor winter sports facilities including snow sledding are prohibited, but can be operated under quarantine regulations.

High-risk facilities such as nursing hospitals expand preemptive testing by shortening the PCR test cycle for workers to twice a week. Prevent workers from wearing indoor masks and gatherings in private, and continue to strengthen quarantine management by designating an institutional quarantine manager.

Existing priority/general management facilities maintain the same quarantine measures, such as prohibition of gatherings, restrictions on the number of users, and prohibition of high-risk activities such as food consumption, depending on the characteristics of each facility.

To ensure the effectiveness of this measure, Ulsan City plans to strengthen on-site inspections and take more strict measures against violations of the quarantine regulations. The policy is to take decisive measures against violations such as non-compliance with the quarantine regulations and prohibition of collective measures and claims for reimbursement rights for businesses with confirmed cases.

Ulsan Mayor Song Chul-ho said, “Thanks to the people’s endurance through difficult and difficult situations, the number of confirmed patients is maintaining a gradual decline.” “We ask you to practice distancing in your daily life.”
