The UK is the first in the world to start vaccinating the Coronavirus Infectious Disease-19 (Corona 19) vaccine (hereinafter referred to as AstraZeneca vaccine) developed by Oxford University-AstraZeneca.

It starts on Monday the 4th of tomorrow (hereinafter local time).

Korea has also completed a contract to purchase 20 million doses of AstraZeneca vaccine.

According to British local media on the 3rd, 530,000 doses of AstraZeneca vaccine are already being shipped to hospitals nationwide, and this will be released tomorrow.

However, the UK government initiated vaccination mainly at large hospitals, and within a few days, it will expand vaccination institutions to hundreds of locations across the country.

Specifically, the vaccine can be vaccinated in 700 hospitals, and hundreds will be added in the future.

The UK launched the world’s first Pfizer vaccination on December 8 last year, and tomorrow will also be the world’s first vaccination with AstraZeneca. In other words, based on Pfizer’s vaccination experience, they are also vaccinating AstraZeneca.

In the case of Pfizer vaccine, more than 1 million people have already been hit in the UK.

The UK population (68.2,7,114 as of last year) is about 10 million more than that of Korea (58.21,669 as of this year). It’s a similar scale. That is why the UK’s vaccination system and the actual speed it takes can be usefully referred to for our vaccination.

The AstraZeneca vaccine was recently approved for use by India for the fourth time after the UK, Argentina, and El Salvador, and it is also drawing attention as it will start vaccination against 30 million of the 300 million targets starting next week.

India is a country in the same Asian region and has a large population (1393.34 million as of last year).
