Ubicare medical institution pickup method and system domestic patent acquisition

Ubicare(9,780 +1.45%)Announced on the 5th that it has acquired a domestic patent for’medical institution pickup method and medical institution pickup system’.

It is a technology that enhances the convenience of examinees and guardians by providing transportation services to medical institutions to examinees who have reserved a medical examination.

In this technology, when an examinee requests transfer to a terminal that has reserved a medical examination, a transport vehicle is deployed based on the examination reservation information. Medical institution officials grasp the movement of the vehicle to be carried out with a location information system (GPS). Through this, the examinee prepares for prompt examination after arriving at the medical institution.

In addition, the vehicle attendant is notified of the expected timing of the end of the examination and is responsible for the patient’s return home. The series of processes is guided remotely to unaccompanied guardians. This explains that the guardian can check the examinee’s movement in real time.

Ubicare predicts that non-face-to-face specimen examinations will be possible if this patent is linked to the entrusted business. In situations where non-face-to-face medical care is required, hospitals that use Ubicare’s electronic medical record (EMR) send test kits to patients through a pickup service. It is explained that if the sample is then collected and delivered to an examination institution, it can be used for regular checkups of patients with chronic diseases such as diabetes.

The company believes that this patented technology will help patients who have difficulty performing processes such as moving to a medical institution, receiving payment, etc., to receive hospital treatment in a timely manner.

“This technology will be useful for patients and caregivers in the post-corona era,” said Sang-kyung Sang-kyung, CEO of Ubicare.
