[아시아경제 정동훈 기자] The arrest warrant filed by the prosecutors’ office was dismissed for professors suspected of fraudulently enrolling Mr. A, the daughter of former Yonsei University International Campus, Lee Kyung-tae into graduate school.

On the 20th, a warrant exclusive judge Kwon Gyeong-seon of the Seoul Western District Law held an interrogation (warrant substantive examination) before arrest against Yonsei University Business School professors Jang Mo and Park Mo, who were alleged to obstruct business, and said, “It is difficult to admit the reason to be restrained and the worthiness.” He dismissed the arrest warrant.

After the interrogation, Mr. Jang’s lawyer refused to say, “I have nothing to tell you,” and Mr. Park’s lawyer said, “I have never received an unfair solicitation or any instruction. I did not know that the applicant was the daughter of the former vice-chancellor.” said.

Professors Jang-mo and Park-mo were found to have been test evaluation committees when Mr. A took the Yonsei University Business Administration General Graduate School entrance exam in 2016. In April of last year, the Ministry of Education asked the prosecutors to investigate those involved in illegal admission based on the audit results that six professors of the university’s evaluation committee members worked with the head professor in 2016 to pass Mr.

A was ranked 9th out of 16 applicants in the document screening where quantitative evaluations such as university grades and English grades were conducted, but it was found that he finally passed with a full score of 100 points in the oral exam using the qualitative evaluation method.

It is known that the prosecution is investigating 10 professors at Yonsei University, including them.
